Who can apply
Emerging artists currently living in New York City, working in any visual medium, without major gallery representation. We are looking for a body of work with a clear voice — not a résumé.
What to send
Up to 15 images of recent work, a few words about you and about the work, one piece you want to talk about in depth, and a plain-language answer to how you would use six months in which money was not the problem.
How it works
Cycle 01 applications close December 30, 2026. Finalists are invited to a studio visit in January, and the Raia artists are announced February 26, 2027. Selected artists receive full terms before accepting.
